Terms of Service & Refund Policy - Autotelic Studio

Welcome to Autotelic Studio. By accessing our website, requesting project quotes, or engaging our professional services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service and Refund Policy. 

1. Business Operations & Services
   Autotelic Studio provides independent technology consulting, engineering leadership, product strategy, and operational execution services. Additionally, we design, fabricate, and deliver custom brick-based artwork, corporate installations, and interactive team experiences. All project boundaries, timelines, and payment benchmarks are formally governed by an independent Statement of Work (SOW) signed by both parties prior to billing initiation.

3. Return and Refund Policy 

• Custom Art & Branded Installations: Due to the highly customized, bespoke nature of custom physical artwork and on-site brick installations, all sales of physical goods are final once fabrication or material purchasing begins. Upfront project deposits are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in your specific corporate SOW. 

• Tech & Strategy Consulting Services: If you are dissatisfied with a consulting milestone or operational delivery, you must notify us in writing within 14 business days of submission. Refund or credit requests will be thoroughly evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment card via Stripe within 5 to 10 business days. 

• Card Disputes: We are committed to a positive client experience. We ask that clients contact us directly via email to resolve billing issues or contractual misunderstandings constructively before initiating a card network dispute or chargeback. 

4. Cancellation Policy 

• Consulting Contracts: Ongoing strategic consulting or engineering management services may be terminated by either party by providing a 30-day written notice. The client remains fully responsible for payment for all hours logged or milestones achieved up to the official date of termination. 

• Interactive Events & Workshops: Scheduled corporate team experiences, workshops, or temporary installations must be canceled or formally rescheduled at least 14 business days prior to the event date. Cancellations made inside this 14-day window are subject to a 20% scheduling forfeiture fee. 

5. Payment and Billing Security
   All payments, retainer fees, and installment invoices are securely processed through Stripe. Autotelic Studio does not store or directly handle your raw credit card or bank account details. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all transactions. 

6. Limitation of Liability
   Autotelic Studio provides its services and physical goods on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. In no event shall Autotelic Studio be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of our services or physical artwork installations.
